Reviews of purchase A. Christmann, Gimmeldinger "Biengarten" Spatburgunder, 2012
Tasting Notes
The wine shows an intense ruby red color.
The taste of wine - full-bodied, fresh and rich. It is dominated by tones of ripe red fruit and oak nuances. Fine-grained tannins and subtle sweetish notes give the wine a refined character. Sustainable, pleasant aftertaste.
An integrated, harmonious and refined wine fragrance opens with bright accents of berries, hints of cherry and plum, which is set off by light touches of wood and mineral accents.
The wine will be a good complement to grilled meats, game, dishes of poultry. It is recommended to submit to the German dishes and aged cheeses.
