Sparkling wine 47 Anno Domini, Spumante Extra Dry Prosecco DOC, 3 L

To create sparkling wine 47 Anno Domini, Spumante Extra Dry Prosecco DOC, winemakers use Glera grapes and other white grapes (Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio). The percentage of grapes varies from year to year. Glera is the dominant variety and its content in the blend is 85-100%. After harvesting and transporting the crop to the winery, it is subjected to soft pressing using a pneumatic press, decantation at low temperature and subsequent fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves, according to the Sharma / Marinotti method, with the addition of yeast. Before bottling, wine 47 Anno Domini, Spumante Extra Dry Prosecco is filtered and decanted using the isobaric method.

The winery received an unusual name - 47 Anno Domini thanks to the year 47 AD ("47 AD" in Latin means "47 year after the birth of Christ"). Emperor Claudius this year completed the construction of one of the most important highways of Ancient Rome. The road was so important for the communications of the vast empire that it acquired its own name - Claudia Augusta. Currently, 25 hectares of vineyards are located on both sides of the historic road through the entire winery. The fertile soils of the vineyards are composed mainly of clay and are rich in mineral salts. The proximity of the Piave River gives a special character to wines made from grapes growing along its banks. The company grows traditional Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties, as well as local varieties Raboso, Carmenere and Prosecco, from which both sparkling and still wines are created, on stubborn, difficult to cultivate soils.
Winery 47 Anno Domini successfully located just a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast and very close to the historic center of Treviso, in the territory intended for the production of Vin Piave. Within the borders of the modern 47 Anno Domini winery, cultural events and art performances are regularly held. The wine boutique located on the territory of the winery offers thematic excursions and tastings, where visitors get acquainted with the art of winemaking. The original, somewhat eccentric architectural style in which the office of the winery is built makes it a desirable object for weddings and parties.

The Tombacco company was founded at the beginning of the 20th century as an agricultural company for growing fruits. Since its inception, all efforts have been focused on producing products of the highest quality. The Tombacco philosophy has always been based on a love of the land and traditions. In 1919, encouraged by the results, the Tombacco company began work in the viticulture sector by creating the Vinicola Tombacco (Vinicola Tombacco) and starting to grow grapes and process it, and then produce wines. A bottling plant was built, equipped with modern technology. Thus was born a company that for many years has been presenting a variety of wines in the regional and global markets.

Vinicola Tombacco is located in Trebaseleg, a small town near Padua, Treviso and Venice. Vineyards are located in the center of the Triveneto region. This amazing territory, although it is very close to the sea, is protected from the wind by mountainous spaces and is rich in rivers. Under such conditions, the vines give a generous harvest, and the wines are rich and especially exquisite.
