Explosive, juicy, flavorful red wine "Vitiano" - this is a real breakthrough in the field of winemaking. It is a testament to the fact that in Umbria, famous for its white wines, you can create beautiful, complex wine from red grapes. Carefully selected for wine berry Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Merlot grown in Montecchio in Orvieto, at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. Stocking density - 6,000 vines per hectare yield is strictly limited - up to 2 kg per bush. The average age of the vines is 18 years. Harvested by hand: Merlot - in early September, Cabernet and Sangiovese - in the third week of September. After a long maceration on the skins produced fermentation of each variety separately with constant pumping in stainless steel tanks for 15 days and then - assemble and malolactic fermentation. Extract of wine made in French oak barrels for 3 months and for some time in the bottle.
