Whisky Tamnavulin "Connoisseur's Choice" 1990, 0.7 L
Reviews of purchase Tamnavulin "Connoisseur's Choice" 1990, 0.7 L
Color whiskey pale straw, with glitter.
The taste of whiskey soft, with spicy notes of cumin. Notes of toasted oak balanced combined with a pleasant roundness of the body. The finish is warm and rich, with hints of spice.
Floral aromas blended whiskey with hints of malt and grain dried, roasted oats, spices and citrus fruits.
Whiskey is perfect as a standalone drink, as well as an ingredient for cocktails.
Young distillery Tamnavulin, built in 1966 - is the only company on the banks of the River Livet Speyside region. First distillery called Tamnavulin-Glenlivet, Glenlivet later removed from its name and there was only "mill on the hill" - Tamnavulin. Old mill that really stands by at the foot of the hill, has been restored and converted into a visitors center. In 1995, the distillery was closed and resumed production since the new owners in 2007 alone. The plant is modern and efficient, it is capable of producing four million liters of alcohol per year. Distillery produces blended and single malt whiskey. Storage whiskey takes place in oak barrels of sherry.
Whiskey Tamnavulin 1990 is available under the label Connoisseur's Choice, which is well known among connoisseurs of whiskey. Under this label, single malt whiskey produced, manufactured at the little-known distilleries, facing the threat of closure and disappearance. From 1980 to 1995, in Scotland was closed 29 distilleries, some of which are entirely ceased to exist, as some only temporarily suspended their work. The reasons for closing are different, but it would be a pity if the whiskey produced in these distilleries, was lost forever. Each of these hard liquor has its own unique properties that could never be obtained with production at any other distillery. It is for this reason, Gordon and McPhail for many years bought up in bulk malt from little-known distilleries, thus saving them from closing. All made of whiskey and thus began to be issued under the label Connoisseur's Choice.
