Whisky has a smooth, sweet, tannic taste with hints of fruit; with the addition of water becomes soft with hints of raisins and red fruits. The finish is medium length, soft, with hints of fruit, nuts and white chocolate.

Linkwood Distillery was founded by Peter Brown in 1821. It got its name in honor of the estate owned by the Brown family. The distillery is located in a beautiful area near the stream Linkvud. Today it is owned by United Distillers and Vintners. Whisky Linkwood is recognized as one of the best in the area of Speyside, it combines the classic qualities of whiskey in the region: taste of smoke, the sweetness of fruit and malt tones.
