Karuizawa distillery is located at the foot of the dormant volcano Asama (Asama). It was built in 1955 Daikoku Budosi, near the foot near the mountain resort with hot springs Kariudzava. This is a small distillery, equipped with only four stills, produces a limited number of high-quality whiskey, which according to its taste more like a Scottish Scotch, but differs from it in a number of qualities.
