Whiskey Inverleven 1991 has a taste with a subtle hint of spice, hints of oak and rounded licorice. When water is added the taste of whiskey becomes spicy, with a hint of dark chocolate and fresh notes of watermelon.
In pure form, whiskey has a fresh aroma with notes of freshly cut grass, citrus and pineapple. In diluted whiskey has a light scent of freshly cut grass with hints of vanilla toffee and roasted almonds.
Like all whiskey 1991 Inverleven especially in combination with good cigar. Lovely digestif.
Scottish Lowlands (Plain) - the southern part of Scotland. Lowland region is located between two rivers Clyde and Tay. Whiskey, which is produced in the Scottish Lowlands, quieter and softer than the whiskey produced in the northern regions. It has a delicate aroma of violets, green grass, leaves and snow. Inverleven distillery was founded in Dumbarton on the banks of the river Levey in 1938, and in 1991 was closed. Throughout her work she distillery has not released any single malt whiskey. Nearly all products Inverleven distillery goes into the making of blended whiskey, as Ballantine's (Ballantine), Long John (Long John) and Teacher's (Tichers).
