Whiskey light amber color.
Initial caramel tones on the palate are moving in the fruit and malt. Surprisingly long finish with hard siliceous and oak nuances.
The aroma of whiskey notes of cereals, citrus, straw and cloves, alcoholic nuances. After heating the glass appears malty undertone.
Whiskey good use as a digestif, with a little water.
Mixed whiskey "High Commissioner", created from premium single malt and grain whiskeys, was first sold in 1865. Aged for at least three years in oak barrels, this whiskey is of good quality and rich, smooth and soft malt taste. Whiskey High Kommishiner - bronze medalist International Spirits Challenge 2009. Loch Lomond - young plant, built in 1965, Barton Brands and Duncan Thomas. Production began a year later. At the factory installed 3 distillation cube odd number, uncharacteristic for distilleries. In connection with this, the plant can produce more than one malt.
Loch Lomond during its existence has produced 7 different malts. In 1984, during the recession in the whiskey industry, the plant was closed and earned again only in 1987. In 1993, the factory was established Coffey-distiller, which allowed not only to produce malt, but also grain whiskey. In 1997, a fire at Loch Lomond destroyed 300,000 liters of whiskey. But the plant continued its work. In 1999, were put into operation two of the cube. Loch Lomond today produces 12 million liters of alcohol per year.
