The aroma of whiskey malt notes, sherry, sweet spices and butter, gradually shifting nuances of ripe pears and caramel.
Whisky Glen Deveron is perfect as a digestif.
Distillery Glen Deveron - one of the youngest in Scotland. It was built in 1962 in the coastal town of Banff, production started in 1963. In the 70s distillery changed its name to "Macduff" and later was officially renamed back. But until now often used both names. Water for production is taken from a local source - the River Deveron. A special feature of the plant is the use of an odd number of distillation cubes - the factory of 5. Only two distilleries in Scotland - Glen Deveron and Talisker from the Isle of Skye using this configuration. The plant is currently owned by John Dewar & Sons, a subsidiary of the group Bacardi, and produces more than three million liters a year, experimenting with different methods of distillation.
"Glen Deveron 10 Year Old" - the most popular single malt whiskey factory. It differs quite concise and clear features and very easy to drink.
