Wine is rich garnet color.
Taste wine dense, rounded, with hints of ripe berries of garden and soft finish.
The aroma of wine is dominated by cherry notes, plum jam, spices, milk toffee and chocolate.
The wine should be served with meat on the grill, poultry, chicken, venison and roasted meat.
"Contraste" Red - red dry wine created from a mixture of the traditional region of Douro grape varieties - Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. Due to sufficient dry climate all year round, grapes, despite the slow maturation, reaches optimum maturity and fine acidity. The vines grow on layered soils. Harvested by hand with 40-year-old vines in small boxes. Desteblirovaniyu and berries are milled, followed by fermentation for one week under a constant temperature controlled pumping wort. 70% mash aged in previously used barrels of French oak, and 30% - in stainless steel tanks for 18 months. The volume of wine production is about 80 000 bottles per year.
