"Red Brueghel" - dark wheat beer class "lux", created in the style of "dunkelweizen" by top fermentation of barley and wheat malt, hops, yeast and water. Beer is brewed in accordance with the law of the purity of brewing from 1516.
Relatively young brewery Sint Christoffel was created in 1986 in the coal mining town of Roermond, located almost on the border with Germany, in the Dutch province of Limburg. The brewery is named after the patron saint of the city of Roermond - St. Christoffel. Tiny at first, in 1995, the brewery has been greatly expanded, moved into a new building with upgraded rooms for fermentation and storage of beer. In the early 90-ies of lager beer from Sint Christoffel three consecutive years won the title of "Best beer in the Netherlands."
