Delicious, refreshing taste of beer first revealed mild malty sweetness on the palate is dominated by then hop bitterness, supported by notes of tea, apple wood. The finish is long and dry.
Beer has a spicy aroma with hints of hops and pine trees, foliage and nuances of malt.
Beer is excellent as an aperitif, goes well with dishes of Japanese and German cuisine, sharp cheeses, fish and poultry.
Christoffel "Blond Brueghel" - light unfiltered premium beer with a delicious taste of living with a characteristic hop bitterness. Beer is brewed from natural ingredients, in accordance with the law of the purity of brewing from 1516. Beer is not subjected to any filtering, or pasteurization.
Relatively young brewery Sint Christoffel was created in 1986 in the coal mining town of Roermond, located almost on the border with Germany, in the Dutch province of Limburg. The brewery is named after the patron saint of the city of Roermond - St. Christoffel. Tiny at first, in 1995, the brewery has been greatly expanded, moved into a new building with upgraded rooms for fermentation and storage of beer. In the early 90-ies of lager beer from Sint Christoffel three consecutive years won the title of "Best beer in the Netherlands."
