Whiskey bright honey-colored.
The taste of whiskey reveals a floral freshness, hints of chocolate, honey, barley, oak and mint, soft shades of tangerine.
The aroma of whiskey an interesting mix of green apple, fresh mint leaves, sugar caramel, hint of chewing tobacco, barley, green tea and toasted almonds.
Whiskey is perfect as a standalone drink with juicy fruit, coffee.
Whiskey "Auchentoshan 21 Years Old" - the pride of the plant and its flagship product line. Created by triple distillation of whiskey is aged in oak barrels, and in the second half of his term exposure transferred into barrels of sherry.
The distillery was founded probably in 1800, but under the name of "Auchintoshan" she earned in 1834. Translated from the Gaelic meaning "corner of the field." The plant itself is located in the lowlands north of Glasgow, and the source of water consumed - Cochna Loch - located in the mountains. A feature of the plant is the use of triple-distilled, unlike conventional double. Some sources claim that Auchentoshan began its history thanks to the Irish immigrants who came here, who brought with them and the Irish custom of triple distillation. Damaged during the Second World War, the factory was purchased, restored and converted Eddie Cairns in 1969. At the same time, in accordance with the new rules of spelling, the plant was renamed and became known as "Auchentoshan". In 1984 the factory was bought by "Morrison Bowmore", which ten years later became a subsidiary of the Japanese corporation "Suntory". "Suntory", which already owned factories on the island of Islay Bowmore and Glen Garioch Highland, quickly withdrew "Okentoshn" winners in creating a brand with a great reputation. The plant currently produces 1.65 million liters of alcohol per year.
